Teal and blue quilled mandala

I really enjoy making these mandala patterns. For this one I chose shades of teal and blue to give a bright fresh look. Mandala patterns give unlimited scope for experimenting with shapes and colour forms. I think the simlicity of the colour scheme works really effectively for this design.

I find it helpful to score lines on the card before starting so that lines and circles are kept neat and straight. They are not too visible on the finished design as most get hidden by the quilled shapes.

This design is now ready for mounting in a frame.
