Quilled Crosses

These quilled crosses were easy and quick to make. They would be suitable for Easter cards or decorations. They could also be used for baptism keepsakes/cards or for 'with sympathy' cards. They were all made using 5mm wide paper strips which gives them a pleasant weight and sturdy feel.

A yellow and white cross. This is nearly 15cm high.

The pale blue and white gives a delicate feel to this cross. This is the smallest cross at 13 cm high.

This is the largest of the crosses at over 16cm high. The dark blue center gives it a striking look of elegance. Some silver glitter was brushed over the surface to add an extra shimmer to this one.

I think I am going to try out some other colour combinations for these including some solid colour and pure white crosses.
