Quilled geometric Owl

Two years ago I looked around for a new craft to learn and I came across some beautiful examples of quilling on social media sites. So I bought myself a quilling starter kit, a 'how to..' book and watched some online tutorials. I was soon hooked on quilling and I liked the variety of ways it could be used to create different effects.

This owl picture was one of my first attempts at quilling a picture and I was really pleased with the final result. The geometric shape was ideal for experimenting with different techniques and quilling shapes.

I would like to create a series of geometric animal pictures so watch this space!
